Ropewalk is a pioneering cocktail destination situated inside the Galle Fort Hotel—a 300-year-old Dutch mansion located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle Fort, Sri Lanka. Known as the island's first bar dedicated entirely to arrack (a traditional spirit distilled from fermented coconut flower sap), it features an impressive selection of over 75 regional varieties. Founded by Amrit Rajaratnam, the venue has gained global acclaim, earning a spot on the prestigious Asia's 50 Best Bars extended list.
