Overview
Miga, meaning “flavorful house,” is a family-run Korean restaurant led by Hyun Sang Ko in the kitchen, with his two sons running the front of house. Its story is rooted in a multi-generational culinary legacy, from a grandmother who cooked in Seoul in the 1970s to a father trained by Korean and Japanese master chefs in the 1990s. Guided by the next generation, the restaurant presents Korean cuisine in a more modern, refined way while staying connected to traditional flavors. A passed-down bone broth remains one of its defining signatures. Unlike many restaurants competing for attention, Miga keeps a low profile with its plain exterior and understated online presence. That quiet confidence is part of its appeal: it is easy to miss, but hard to forget once discovered.
